a solo music project created by ewan gowans, lazypines is a singer songwriter writing folk and rock songs about queerness, isolation, loneliness and struggles with navigating the world. he is influenced by an upbringing in rural and suburban scotland, the soundtracks of video games, and sound design from film and television. lazypines combines the rawness of acoustic tones with bright and energetic electronic synths to create songs that embody their heartfelt lyrics.
